Appointment start time is 8:30pm (not before 8:15pm) and be prepared to leave the facility by 6:00am, unless one of our team members individually confirms different timing with you.
Paperwork and medical preparations are required prior to going to sleep.
There are no painful procedures associated with a sleep study. Patients can take comfort in knowing they will be receiving personalized and compassionate care from our experienced providers.
Bring an overnight bag with any necessary toiletries and comfortable sleepwear.
Patients should bring any medications they are currently taking, unless otherwise advised.
Yes, please make sure you have dinner prior to arriving.
Patients should avoid caffeine and alcohol after 3:00pm on the day of the test.
Yes, each bedroom is equipped with a private, en suite bathroom.
Technicians do not provide any sleep test results to patients, as that is beyond their legal scope of practice. Results are sent to the referring physician within two weeks of having completed the sleep study.
While our center does not have dedicated parking spaces, there are many parking garages nearby and parking is free on the street after 7:00pm.
The N, R, W, F, Q, 4, 5, and 6 trains are all within three blocks of our sleep center.
